About Amy

Amy Nasshan, MOT, OTR/L, has worked as an occupational therapist with infants and toddlers and their families since 2013.

She has always loved working with babies. In fact, Amy became an occupational therapist because someone mentioned that she might be able to “play on the floor with babies all day” as an OT, and she knew it was the right fit for her!

It wasn’t until she began working professionally in early intervention, in the homes and communities of infants and their families, that she came to love and see the importance of working with all family members together.

Amy presents on a variety of topics pertaining to infant and toddler development on local and statewide levels. In 2009, she traveled to Ghana in West Africa to conduct an independently-designed research study, as well as to Ukraine in 2011 to participate in a service learning occupational therapy program through the University of Utah.

Although she is grateful for her professional opportunities to instruct, learn, and share knowledge, Amy’s most comprehensive training has been as a mother to two incredible children, who continue to teach her new things every day. She enjoys going on road trips with her husband, jogging on misty mornings, and attending festivals & fairs in the New England Fall.
